May 30 Pop-up Spring Migration Bird Walk
Spring migration is in full swing! Join us on Saturday, May 30 for a bird walk; celebrate the season looking for all your favorite migrants. Grab your adventure buddy and join us on Saturday, May 30 from 8:00 – 10:00 am at Cattus Island County Park.
Birding is for everyone. All are welcome on our friendly and respectful Beachy Birder Adventures!
We will meet in the parking lot of Cattus Island County Park. We will walk on the paved, flat multi-use path and maybe a boardwalk trail or two for about two miles. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, bring water and binoculars if you have them. We have 10 pairs of 8×25 birding binoculars for you to borrow as needed, and we will have a spotting scope to look through as well.
Our outings are rain or shine but in the event of extreme weather we will reschedule for a more enjoyable experience. Let’s get birdy!
Meet at Cattus Island County Park
1170 Cattus Island Blvd
Toms River, NJ 08753
Cost: $25/adult (children under 5 are free)
Space is limited to 25 to ensure a small group experience.
Our purpose is to lead guided bird walks throughout New Jersey, encouraging all to appreciate the beauty and wonder of nature. Beachy Birder Adventures gives everyone a chance to be curious, learn and discover something new. Our walks are low key and meant for the bird curious. We slow-bird. We look to meet people where they are through lighthearted humor.
